Some of you may have seen what Dax Holding, MD of Mungo Design wrote in a mailer sent out in the past couple of days. His words and message resonated with us.

Compassion, gratitude, resilience and resourcefulness are qualities that have become so evident during this time. So many of our business owners have moved quickly to see how best to support their employees and keep them safe all whilst working out how to keep their businesses afloat.

It’s not possible for everyone to work and it’s great to see those that can, are doing it in a kind, considerate way.

Masks have been something that have provided work, purpose and safety to many people around the world and it’s no different here.

Both Mungo Design and Rowdy Bags have shifted their production to making masks. Please order yours (and yes there are delivery costs to Johannesburg) but the couriers need business too.

Another initiative #10millionmasks (logo designed by Papersnap) is working to get 10 million masks to the people that need them. Have you seen this initiative? Perhaps there’s a way you can get involved.
