Mungo had our hearts way before they agreed to open a small pop-up store at 44 Stanley in 2016. That little store went on to became their permanent Johannesburg store and now they've moved into a larger space next door.
The space is light and bright and showcases their products perfectly. You'll also find a giant warp hanging from the beams which pays homage to the original fram handloom. When you visit why not try your hand at weaving a rug made from thick cotton and wool yarns? Phumzile or Sandy can show you how.
Read more about the move in the Mungo blog and be sure to visit next time you’re in the centre.
