The Atelier, our favourite framer and art space is turning 5 and they're celebrating this Friday, 1st December.

Come and join them for a glass of wine and view their extensive collection of limited edition fine art prints from Artthrob, The Artists' Press, Artist Proof Studio, 50ty/50ty prints and Warren Editions. Blank Ink Designs will also be launching the JHB OR Tambo - Architectural Airport Guide.

The lucky visitors who pop in on Friday evening stand a chance of winning an amazing prize - a limited edition OR Tambo print by Blank Ink Design, a framed print by Fiona Pole and a R1500 framing voucher. Wow, definitely worth visiting, remember that the whole centre will be open for First Fridays making it the perfect spot to spend your Friday evening.

July is a funny month, it's easy to feel a bit blah - winter will do that to you. But each year for the last 5 years, there's the Turbine Art Fair to look forward to. It's one of those Jozi events that cannot be missed - a celebration of emerging South African contemporary art that takes place at the iconic Turbine Hall, which is just around the corner from us in Newtown.

It takes place next weekend and it's a great excuse to celebrate Jozi, the vibrant emerging art scene and what the city has to offer. With that in mind we're offering a lucky couple an amazing prize of a weekend in the city!
